Danielle Langan and Sam Smith are fundraising for Wishlist
Who we are?
To put it simply, we are two great friends with heart about to lose our hair to help others. We have been Sunny Coast locals for twenty plus years and friends for most of those.
Why?
The heartache associated with serious illness and disease touches most of us at some stage in our life, and we have experienced first hand the loss and devastation that this can bring to families, both emotionally and financially. The work that Wishlist do in our local community to support families facing these challenging times is invaluable. Wishlist directs more than $1 million towards medical equipment, research and accommodation. They also supply support services including clown doctors, music therapy for palliative patients and therapy dogs.
What?
We are losing our locks and aim to raise more than $5,000 from our friends, family, community and work colleagues for Wishlist, knowing that 100% of the funds raised is staying and benefiting our community in such an Important way. Local hair salon and huge supporter, Craig and Lara from Pony Hair Salon Noosaville, have generously donated their time and salon to shave our heads on Friday 12 April 2024.
