In its 25th year, 92.7 MIX FM and the Sunshine Coast Community have raised $552,918 for this year’s Give Me 5 campaign!
Wishlist are the lucky beneficiaries of this amazing campaign and the $552,918 raised will enable us to make a significant difference in the lives of patients and their families.
For more than a month every year the 92.7 MIX FM radio team devotes all they have to raising as much money as possible for sick kids and their families.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude 92.7 Mix FM for their unwavering support and to everyone involved including everyone that dropped coins into buckets, attended events, helped spread the word and volunteers.
Long time 92.7 MIX FM Breakfast Announcers Mark Darin and Caroline Hutchinson said, “Do you know what the best thing about this money is?
“It tells parents of sick kids that we see them, we know they are there, we know they are in hospital and their kid matters to the Sunshine Coast – and that’s what we did this month.
“The money matters, but the thought means so much more.”
Wishlist CEO Lisa Rowe said, “This support means so much to so many through the provision of the ventilator we can purchase immediately, peer support programs for chronically ill children who spend too much time in hospital, more of the precious clown doctor service and the calm fairy and ongoing support in very real ways for families enduring the worst time of their lives.”
There's still time to get involved in this year’s Give Me 5 with the Food & Wine Lunch so don't miss your opportunity to get behind an incredible cause.
