To mark the dawn of a new community partnership, Wishlist joined forces with Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival (SCCMF) in June 2021 to present MUSIC & WELLNESS: ‘Musical Meditations’ outreach concerts at Sunshine Coast University Hospital and an Aged Care Facility.
Sunshine Coast Chamber Music Festival deliver a radiant experience of classical, live musical performances in the most iconic places and spaces around the Sunshine Coast region. As a supporter of Music Therapy, Wishlist resonates with the priceless gift music can bring to patients, families and the community. The registered charity is driven by volunteers to provide a wide range of professional employment to musicians and other creative individuals.
Many people from all areas of life have been tumultuously impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic and no more so than talented musicians and SCCMF strive to help them get back to performing. The festival is here to stay and grow as a permanent state-of-the-art music resource – culturally diverse and mirror of the Coast lifestyle.
