We checked in with Isabella and her mum Jos today and found out Isabella had been admitted to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital once again earlier this week.
Buderim youngster Isabella was born with a rare disease and has endured 53 surgeries since birth.
The family recently found out Isabella might have some neurological issues so they made the trek to Brisbane today to see high-level specialists to try and find an answer.
Mum Jos is a big supporter of Wishlist and 92.7 Mixfm‘s Give Me 5 For Kids appeal after becoming a ‘frequent flyer’ in the wards of the Sunshine Coast University Hospital (SCUH).
“There are so many kids there in the paediatric department. It’s very boring being in hospital and it’s hard because you can’t leave or go anywhere.
“Those little activity packs, colouring in kits, and distraction things make life a little easier. It’s only there because you guys work so hard to make it happen.”
This year’s cause is Family Accommodation near SCUH to keep families close in times of a medical need.
