Wishlist is calling on the Sunshine Coast community to rally behind The House the Coast Built 2022 to complete the fit-out of 18 rooms in the new state-of-the-art Wishlist Centre (Stage One).

From carpenters and tilers to painters and flooring specialists, Wishlist needs all hands on deck to open the doors of the $14 million centre in July 2022.

Long-term Wishlist partners Ausmar Homes will once again project manage The House the Coast Built project in 2022 – following three successful The House the Coast Built projects spanning almost 10 years and raising hundreds of the thousands of dollars to enhance public health services on the Sunshine Coast.

Wishlist Centre is currently under construction opposite the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and will deliver affordable accommodation and crucial support services for patients while they receive ongoing treatment or are transitioning to and from hospital, as well as their families.

From accommodation for patients and families to cancer support services, youth mental health programs and more – Wishlist Centre will be Australia’s first facility to offer patient accommodation, primary healthcare and complementary therapies under one roof.

The House the Coast Built project will kick off in March 2022.
