Mosey Down the Mary
About the Adventure/Expedition:
Mosey implies a leisurely, unhurried movement or journey, so this trip is expected to be more for adventure than an endurance challenge.
This is a one way supported journey through new country with new things to experience around each bend in the river.
On July 1st I will be departing from Moy Pocket and travelling down river to the mouth at River Heads, a distance of approx. 140km. We hope to complete the trip in 6-7 days, camping riverside along the way.
A full itinerary will be posted on social media closer to the event. We also hope to livestream at times to share our adventure with those that can’t be there in person. We welcome any and all to come and say hi as we mosey past, or join us for a day on the river.
CAUSE - Caring for the Nurses that Care for Us.
The funds raised will be directed to support our phenomenal health staff and frontline workers who day in and day out, care for those experiencing health trauma. Compassion fatigue is real, and sometimes those with the biggest smiles are suffering on the inside, so compassion is key. Help us care for them, in their time of need, by funding support programme initiatives. Thank you.
