The inaugural Wishlist Fun Run will kick off this Sunday, April 22, at Lake Kawana. Here is everything you need to know…

Registration opens at 6am – you must be registered by 7am. The 5km walkers and runners will take off at 7.30am, and the 10km runners will be on the track at 8.15am.
There will be presentations and plenty of fun before you hit the track!

Your entry includes a Wishlist Fun Run T-Shirt, numbered bib which tracks your time, plus heaps of goodies like a QSuper Fund water bottle, Wishlist visor and feature magazine. You will receive your pack when you register on the day.

Fun Run Poster-01PARKING:

Free on-street parking is available along Sportsmans Pde. You can also park at Sunshine Coast Stadium.

There will be two water stations on the course at the 5km turn and the 10km turn. View the course map.

The Billy’s Buddies Obstacle Course will run continuously for the entire morning. See us at the registration table and we’ll supply your wristband. You can also pay $5 to enter on the day.

Spectators are welcome to bring picnic rugs, chairs, and of course cheer signs. The more the merrier! As a reminder, no pets are permitted on the day.

Activities on the day include a barbecue thanks to 92.7 Mixfm, free face painting, free jumping castle, free massages for entrants, a coffee van (yes!), raffles, roving characters, free fruit stall and prizes drawn on the day.

Rain or shine, the Wishlist Fun Run will take place. Please see our Weather Policy for more information and keep updated on our Facebook page.

This event is designed for running and walking entrants only. For safety reasons bikes, rollerskates, rollerblades, rip boards and scooters are not permitted on the course.
Strollers/prams are permitted but must commence at the rear of the race start. All children must be restrained appropriately in the stroller/pram.
We advise entrants to leave their valuables at home or in a locked vehicle. The organisers are unable to accept any responsibility for lost bags or belongings.
