Mr Kennard said the inspiration behind the rooms on the upper two levels was to provide a timeless coastal palette to reflect the surroundings of the Sunshine Coast.

“It is a place to heal more like a hotel stay, providing services that cater for a circle of care for those experiencing a health crisis, away from a clinical environment”.

Wishlist CEO Lisa Rowe said the partnership was a crucial element in keeping costs to a minimum when it came to the build of the four-level centre.

“We are so grateful to the team at Evoke Projects for becoming part of the Wishlist family and helping our health foundation to make a very real difference in the lives of patients and families who are facing a health crisis,” Ms Rowe said.

“It’s because of businesses like Evoke Projects that we will be able to deliver a truly unique accommodation facility that will be comfortable, inviting and functional for the many people who will call Wishlist Centre their ‘home away from home’.
