Ann Marie from Sunshine Coast University Hospital pathology holds two brand new Wishlist-funded Buzzy Distraction Devices to help distract young patients who need blood tests and other medical procedures.
The Buzzy is designed to 'take the sting' out of shots. It confuses a child's own nerves and diverts attention away from the pain.
