Hospital foundation Wishlist is calling for resumes from the Gympie community.
The not-for-profit charity is looking to hire an experienced barista for the Wishlist Coffee House at Gympie Hospital.
The thriving coffee shop brews up more than 100 coffees each day for busy health staff, patients and visitors with all proceeds going back into the hospital for equipment and upgrades.
Wishlist Development and Operations Manager Jeff McColl said 25 hours of paid work is being offered for the right person who has barista, cooking and counter service experience.
“It’s rare to find a hospitality job that only requires weekday work, so we do feel it’s a great opportunity for a Gympie local,” Mr McColl said.
“Our Coffee House manager Jacques Martin is a brilliant French pastry chef and the café is backed by a dedicated and hard-working team of volunteers.
“This job is permanent part-time and there is a fair amount of flexibility so you can achieve a work/life balance.”
