Locally owned and operated Telstra Business Technology Centre Sunshine Coast has teamed up with one of Sunshine Coast’s leading charities, Wishlist – as an Alliance Partner.
Telstra Business Technology Centre Sunshine Coast General
Sales Manager Dan Warne said he was proud to support a 100 percent local cause.
“Our Sunshine Coast hospitals are at the very heart of our community and
we will be there to help every family on the Coast at one point or another,” Mr
Warne said.
“I’ve fortunately been blessed with a healthy son and thankfully we
haven’t had to use our local hospital, but I do realise how lucky we are.
“It’s a great privilege for us to be a part of the wonderful
things Wishlist are able to provide the hospital and the wider Sunshine Coast
Community.”
Mr Warne said assisting and supporting clients was at the
forefront of the Telstra Business Technology Centre.
“Our business has evolved immensely over recent years, with
a real focus on technology and how this relates to the individual need of our
clients,” he added.
“Our purpose is to guide people through their technology and
communications journey, focusing on the right solution.
“We deliver this by providing market leading consultancy
with a focus on client and data security, linked to a strategy to improve
overall personal or commercial efficiency.”
Wishlist CEO Lisa Rowe said the
partnership was an important one, as Telstra’s support assisted fundraising, and
reduced the not-for-profits operational costs.
“Further to their financial
contribution to the work of the charity, the team at Telstra have assisted us
with mobile phones for key staff, iPads which are used for fundraising and
Office 365 training,” Ms Rowe said.
Wishlist’s many accommodation
facilities have also benefited from the partnership.
“Telstra have recently provided our 20 bed facility ‘Reed House’ with a new telephone system and our soon-to-open six-bedroom accommodation ‘The House The Coast Built’ in Birtinya now has WIFI and a security system, which will be of great relief for families needing to stay close to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital and connected to their loved ones.”
“This support of Wishlist translates
into a huge saving from an operational point of view, which we are truly thankful
for.”
Wishlist Development and Operations
Manager Jeff McColl said Telstra Business Technology Centre Sunshine
Coast
wanted to be aligned with a like-minded organisation to support Sunshine Coast families.
“As a locally owned business,
Telstra take seriously their custodianship in assisting Wishlist to move
forward and work in a more efficient and technology-savvy way,” Mr McColl said.
“In return for their support as an
Alliance Partner, we provide great networking and business connections, as well
as brand exposure to all Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health staff and Wishlist supporters.
“We very much take care of our Wishlist partners as we are very appreciative for what they allow us to achieve as an organisation.”
