A HUGE cheer went out from the Alex Surf Club recently as a plane flew past carrying a sign displaying the total money raised by the Sunshine Coast for Mix FM’s Give Me Five For Kids campaign.

The month-long campaign raised a record-breaking $373,822 smashing last year’s total of $312,586.

The funds will now be donated towards growing the Child Development Service in Maroochydore, essential equipment for the Nambour General Hospital's Paediatric Unit and the wellbeing and entertainment of young patients in hospital.
