VIP tickets to the highly-anticipated Wishlist Jazz and Wine Festival on Saturday, August 14 have sold out in record time.
Wishlist Fundraising and Events Manager Lisa Wilson said the annual event was cancelled last year due to COVID restrictions, but this year’s festival had garnered a flurry of ticket sales.
“The VIP Verandah has already sold out but thankfully we do have a limited number of general admission tickets and some Corporate Packages still available,” Ms Wilson said.
The event will be held at Gunabul Homestead in Gympie featuring renowned jazz and blues artists, award-winning wines and gourmet food.
“It’s a fun-filled afternoon many Sunshine Coast and Noosa residents travel to be at, it’s an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed evening out, all while supporting Wishlist.
“This year we will be raising much-needed funds to give patients access to a range of vital services within our new Wishlist Centre.”
The four-level purpose-built facility will provide transitionary care for patients having to travel to the Sunshine Coast University Hospital for medical treatment.
“Through collaboration with commercial, community and government sectors, Wishlist Centre will offer the physical, psychological, spiritual and emotional support we know is needed by patients and their families,” Ms Wilson said.
“Tickets are selling fast, so don’t miss out, and a big thank you to our event sponsors Schuh Group, Gunabul Homestead and Karinya Florist and Gifts for making this event happen for 2021.
“It’s going to be the best yet,” Ms Wilson added
Construction of Wishlist Centre’s Stage One will commence next month with the facility expected to open in mid-2022.
The not-for-profit charity has embarked on an ambitious fundraising appeal for an extra $2 million to ensure Wishlist Centre is all it must be for patients and families.
