Staff at Nambour Hospital will now be able to enjoy some time outdoors thanks to the addition of two new benches funded by Wishlist.

With the previous tables beyond repair, staff were unable to use the breakout space at Nambour Hospital giving them little opportunity to get outside and enjoy their lunch breaks.

Business Support Officer, Leona Caswell, believes the new benches will revitalise the breakout space.

“The breakout space on level one is easily accessible for all staff, it offers a quite space with an elevated outlook and with these new benches staff can spend time on their own wellness and mindfulness which has flow on benefits to our patients,” Leona says.

“These benches really make staff feel valued.”

Wishlist was able to fund these benches thanks to the generous donations of the Sunshine Coast community.
