The gift wrapping at Kawana shoppingworld has officially begun and day two saw Member for Kawana Jarrod Bleijie, lend a hand at wrapping presents.

The gift wrapping station will be open all business hours until Christmas Eve and a gold coin donation is encouraged to have your presents beautifully wrapped by the wonderful Wishlist volunteers.

Member of Kawana Jarrod Bleijie said that as a local member it’s nice to come out and support the community and a wonderful cause.

“It’s great that the money raised is going to diversional therapists to help people in aged care homes and nursing home facilities,” Mr Bleijie said.

“(Wishlist) is a great charity on the Sunshine Coast that brings smiles to people’s lives.”

If you would like to get your presents wrapped, head to the wrapping station near the Santa set and The Coffee Club.

Or if you would like to volunteer please call the Wishlist office on 5470 6598. No previous wrapping experience required, just ask local member Jarrod Bleijie.

“I’m learning a lot today about Christmas wrapping, I can’t say I’m an expert but I’ve got my L plates on,” Mr Bleijie said.
