Hundreds of Hospital Staff turned out in style on Saturday, 20 October to celebrate Gympie Hospitals 150th anniversary.

The function was an opportunity for staff and community members to pay tribute to more than a century of outstanding health service.

The celebration was successful in bringing the community together to acknowledge the important work of Gympie Hospital, and appreciate the advances in Gympie's health service over the years.

In addition to this, the event managed to raise an impressive figure over $12,000 for Wishlist to dedicate to fund staff education, equipment and support programs in Gympie.

Gympie Hospital Director of Nursing and Facility Manager Nicole White said the event was a great success and a great opportunity for current and former work colleagues to reconnect and share memories while celebrating our wonderful hospital.
