Lisa rowe hat off colour3Dear friends and families of the Sunshine Coast

This Sunday June 29 presents a once-only opportunity for our community and I write to personally implore each and every one of you to act now.

100% of registration fees for Run Sunshine Coast will be directed to Wishlist, but for this year and only this year the organisers, the Cotton On Foundation, will match every registration dollar.

Right now we have 1,127 registered which equates to $77,746.40 that will be raised on Sunday morning for the growth of the Child Development Service.  This, along with proceeds of Mix FM’s Give Me 5 for Kids, will take the local health team that deals with children with behavioural and developmental issues out of their current location (in Nambour Hospital) and house them in the community.  As soon as we have the funds we’ll appointment additional staff, and provide all that we can to make the Child Development Service the best it can possibly be for local families.Run Sunshine coast great ad

If you’ve ever considered taking part in a fun run, charity walk or marathon then please make Sunday June 29 the day that you do it.  If you can’t actually be there then enter as a VIRTUAL RUNNER, and nominate the person you’d like to run on your behalf.

Your registration dollar is instantly doubled.

Again, the importance of this unique event should not be lost on any resident of the Sunshine Coast and I implore you to register NOW for Run Sunshine Coast at www.runaustralia.com.au

 Thank you

Lisa Rowe
