We are pleased to announce the inaugural Rock N Rides event held last Saturday at Aussie World raised $13,336 for Sunshine Coast charity Wishlist.

The event was attended by more than 650 people who enjoyed an evening of thrill-seeking rides at the iconic Coast theme park, followed by live music performed by Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health staff.

Funds raised on the night will be directed to continuing Wishlist's service support projects including the local Clown Doctor program to bring smiles to little faces, diversional therapy for paediatric patients and music therapy at Dove Palliative Care.

"Thank you to everyone who attended our first Rock N' Rides event at Aussie World," Wishlist CEO Lisa Rowe said.

"We love when the community turns out to make a very real difference to local families, and of course we couldn't have achieved this result without our wonderful and generous corporate partner Aussie World."
