1. Wishlist Spring Carnival
The Wishlist Spring Carnival, now in its 14th year, is a celebrated Sunshine Coast event. The 2023 carnival occurred Friday, September 8, 2023. This special afternoon raises vital funds for lifesaving medical equipment, affordable hospital accommodation near the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, medical research, and invaluable therapy services. The event has raised almost $2 million over the years. Attendees can look forward to an afternoon of fun, fashion, and fundraising, including a gala auction with over 80 items and the exciting Wishlist Spring Carnival Cup horse race.
Together, a phenomenal $224,000 was raised.
It has helped establish a new three-year role within our local health service which will make a potentially lifesaving difference to DFV survivors.

The latest event was on September 8, 2023, and started at 12:30 PM for a 1:00 PM commencement.
Getting involved
Tickets include access to the Starter's Lounge from midday. The dress code is Spring Carnival Racewear. Attendees can participate in the auction and the horse race, with the chance to win various prizes.
